| Nurse practitioners are registered nurses
with advanced training. The additional training includes a Master's
Degree in Nursing, with courses directed towards physical exams and
diagnosis. This training allows them to prescribe medication and manage
acute or stable chronic health concerns.

Connie M. Gratias R.N.,
CNP Connie received her initial registered nurse education at
North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, IA. She continued her
education, earning a B.S. degree in nursing from the College of St.
Catherine, St. Paul, MN and her master's degree in nursing, with a
family nurse practitioner focus from the University of Minnesota, Twin
Cities. Her nursing background included hospital, school, public health,
clinic and home care nursing before she became a nationally certified
family nurse practitioner.
As a family nurse practitioner, Connie provides care for patients of all
ages for acute and chronic health concerns and well-child and adult
yearly exams at the Alexandria and Osakis Clinics as well as at area
nursing homes. She has a background and special interest in the
health-care needs of children. Connie and her husband, Jim, have two
children and are grandparents. Connie enjoys quilting and summer outdoor
activities.

Lisa R. Hennen R.N., MS, CNP
Lisa was born in Minneapolis, MN and saw quite a bit of Minnesota while
moving around during her childhood. She earned her bachelor's degree in
nursing at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She worked as a
registered nurse at the Douglas County Hospital before returning to
graduate school at the University of Minnesota, where she received her
master’s degree and family nurse practitioner training. She is certified
through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and also maintains
memberships in the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, Rural Nursing
Organization and American Nurses Association.
Her practice emphasizes health promotion and patient education in
women’s health, gynecology, infertility and adolescent care in addition
to general family practice. She enjoys playing sports, being outdoors
and spending time with family. Lisa and her husband reside in Alexandria
with their two children.

Heather R. Scholl, FNP
Heather Scholl, FNP, attended Gustavus Adolphus College in
St. Peter, MN, graduating in 1994 with a B.A. in Nursing. After working
as an R.N. in both St. Paul and Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria,
she completed her Master's of Science degree in Nursing at the
University of Minnesota in 1999. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she
worked at Hutchinson Medical Center for eight years and Wayzata for
OBGYN West, P.A. for two years prior to joining Alexandria Clinic, P.A.
Heather Scholl is a
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with clinical interests in
family medicine, women's health and and urgent care.
In her spare time she enjoys being active and
spending time with family. Heather, her two children and husband reside
in Alexandria.

Meghan Stadsklev, R.N.,
CNP Meghan was born and raised in Alexandria, MN. She
graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN with a bachelor’s
degree in biology. She continued her education at the University of
Minnesota where she obtained her certification in nursing and Master of
Science degree in nursing, May 2008. She is board certified as a family
nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Meghan was employed as a registered nurse at the University of Minnesota
Medical Center in Minneapolis before returning to Alexandria. For the
past year she has been employed at the Douglas County Hospital as a
registered nurse working primarily with pediatric and surgical patients.
Meghan’s professional interests include health promotion and disease
prevention for people of all ages, as well as women’s health, pediatric
and adolescent medicine and nutrition counseling.
In her spare time, Meghan enjoys running, cross-country skiing, spending
time on the lake and knitting. She and her husband Scott, a dentist at
Stadsklev Dental in Alexandria, reside in Alexandria. Meghan joined
Alexandria Clinic in November 2008. |
