Otolaryngology (ENT)

Otolaryngology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat and head and neck disorders. General otolaryngology treatment includes topics such as deviated septum, laryngitis, parotitis, phiaryngitis tonsillitis and head and neck surgery.
 
Joseph L. Ruegemer M.D.

Dr. Joseph Ruegemer was born in St. Paul, MN and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He continued his education at Madison, WI, where he received his M.S. Degree in Genetics and Agronomy.

Dr. Ruegemer earned his Medical Degree with Honors from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He served several years in the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon and completed residency training in Otolaryngology. He finished his decorated military career at Elmendorf Air Force Base, AK as Chief Department of Surgery.

Dr. Ruegemer specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric disorders of the ear, nose, and throat including endoscopic sinus surgery, snoring, sleep apnea, chronic ear infections and allergies.  Dr. Ruegemer enjoys outdoor activities including fishing, biking and running.
